The IS 6132P Interpreter Set is an all digital compact multi channel unit for simultaneous interpretation. It is designed to provide all the facilities needed by an interpreter.
The IS 6132P Interpreter Set is used with a CU 6010 Central Unit to form a digital simultaneous interpretation system of up to 31+1 languages.
The unique digital technology used provides excellent audio performance of consistently high quality. Background noise, distortion and crosstalk is virtually eliminated. The digital technique offers equal listening level on all channels irrespective of the individual interpreter’s speech level.
Each interpreter will have one IS 6132P for individual use – optional with an LS 6132P Loudspeaker connected. Any required number of the IS 6132P - with or withoutLS 6132P - connects to DCS-LAN - the all digital communication bus running Cat.5 cables.
A large backlit display is provided for easy identification of the pre-selected and the outgoing languages. The relay quality of eachpre-selected language is shown indicating if the language is original, a direct, double or more relay interpretation.
The IS 6132P features:• Illuminated microphone on/off button
• Large "Mute/Cough" buttonThe microphone is temporarily mutedwhen pressing the Mute/Cough button

• Language names are assigned to all channels.More than 70 standard language names are available.
• The number of channels can be limited tomatch the number of languages required(0 to 31)
• Multiple interlocking modes:
- Complete lock
- No lock
- Interlock:
A interrupt A: An interpreter turning on his microphone on an A-channel will interrupt another interpreter using his A channel
A interrupt B: An interpreter turning on his microphone on an A-channel will interrupt another interpreter using his B channel, but will not interrupt an interpreter using his Achannel.
A interrupt A+B: An interpreter turning on his microphone on an A-channel will interrupt another interpreter using his A or B channel.
•‘Beep’ mode for use by blind interpreters. One ‘beep’ indicates the microphone is‘on’. Two ‘beeps’ indicates the microphoneis ‘off’.
• ‘Auto Floor’ mode. When Auto Floor is disabled a language channel with no interpretation will not have the Floor sound. This mode is very useful in broadcast applications.

• Remotely controllable from the CU 6010or a PC with SW 6000
The A outgoing channel is set up byusing the built-in set-up menu or from SW 6000.Any set-up may easily be changed at therequest of the interpreter either by the operator/technician or 'live' using the SW6000.The firmware of all IS 6132P in a system mayeasily be upgraded e.g. with new functionality via the DCS-LAN from a PC connectedto the CU 6010 Central Unit.
